PRAKASH FOUNDATION as the name suggests works on the motto of bringing radiance into life. Determined to achieve our goal we have clearly defined the focus areas and continuously strive to achieve them. Women Empowerment and Child Development are the two streams where we are putting our full energies. Educate, Empower and Employ are the three strong pillars on which we are creating a foundation for needy women and children.

Women Empowerment

Empowerment of women by Prakash Foundation addresses the ways in which developmental initiatives create the conditions whereby women can become the agents of their own development and empowerment.

Child Development

Childhood safety, stability and development are the foundations for learning, behaviour and health through school years and into adult life.We at Prakash Foundation believe in the power of education and holistic development.

Training for Women

When in school many people do not realize the value of education, especially when it comes to girl education. Same happened with the ladies who came to us to learn English.

Meenakshi Malik

A postgraduate from Miranda House , Delhi University and an educationist with two decades of experience working in reputed schools of Delhi and Mumbai.

Pali Waraich

Pali Waraich is a household name in Mumbai for her dedication to help needy women. She has generated employment for over 200 women who are widow or specially challenged by handing over a small tool to them – Crochet and Thread.

Gunjan Khatry

Gunjan Khatry graduated in English honors, M.A. (English) with a diploma in Early childhood care and education, she has a vast experience of teaching in various public schools in Chandigarh & Delhi.

Vandana Sehgal

Vandana Sehgal is an active participant in the functioning of the NGO. Being a corporate trainer, she has the constant urge to teach the under-privileged children and ladies.
